Transparent data policy

How we verify
prices and official sources

Vignette Route is an independent reference. We turn fragmented public information into a practical comparison while keeping every purchase decision connected to the original operator.

Editorial principles

Official sources come first

We use national road authorities, public toll operators, official stores, government guidance and concessionaires. Country pages expose those links so every claim can be checked at its source.

How prices are handled

Displayed tariffs are for a typical passenger car unless stated otherwise. The official currency is primary; EUR values for other currencies are indicative and may differ from your bank conversion.

No reseller commissions

Official links are selected for accuracy, not commission. Vignette Route does not add a service fee and does not present reseller prices as official tariffs.

What the planner can and cannot do

Routes are country-level corridors, not turn-by-turn navigation. Fixed time-based vignettes can be compared; distance, bridge, tunnel and city charges often require the exact road, junction or vehicle category.

Updates and verification dates

Every country profile shows the latest project-wide verification date. We review data when an operator changes tariffs or rules, but the operator website remains authoritative at the moment of travel.

Corrections

A public data source can change without notice. If a country page conflicts with its linked operator, follow the operator and treat the Vignette Route page as awaiting review.
